Paulina Strassburger joined Chambers as Private Secretary to the Head of Chambers in January 2022.

She is responsible for supporting the Head of Chambers with logistics, preparation of written documents, diary management, and the day-to-day management of OUTLINE Chambers. In addition, Paulina oversees clerking for Chambers’ international work and liaising with The Mentors Group in Dubai.

Paulina is an accomplished bilingual, multidisciplinary, result-oriented professional with a demonstrated history of working in international and government affairs. As a former diplomat, posted as the Political Affairs Attaché in the Consulate General of Mexico in New York and as the Executive Assistant for the Ambassador of Mexico in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and as a public servant in Mexico for the last 15 years, she is well acquainted with the political, economic, and social circumstances globally.

Prior to working for the Mexican Foreign Ministry, Paulina worked as the Director of Foreign Media at the President of Mexico office, where she was responsible for creating and coordinating the Mexican government’s first ever in-house international media unit to improve analysis and response to the evolving press environment.

All these positions demanded that Paulina has a strong knowledge of governmental issues, public policy, international relations, institutional mandates, and sound political analysis and diplomacy, and required her to provide leadership, political support, and advice in the framework of politically sensitive issues.

Paulina holds a master’s degree in Urbanization and Development from the London School of Economics and a Political Science degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
