Kareem Asfari holds an LLM in international law from SOAS, an MPhil in English Studies from the University of Cambridge, and a Graduate Diploma in Law from City, University of London. He is currently completing his second year of the Bar Vocational Scheme at City, University of London.  As a researcher at the Syrian Legal Development Programme and Guernica 37 he has focused on sanctions, impunity, and accountability for rights abuses.
